IT Intern 

Noetic is a government contractor offering intelligent and innovation strategies in research, development, test, and engineering. We specialize in Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Information Technology and Security, Program Support and Research and Development. 

Noetic Strategies is seeking an Information and Technology Intern. The purpose of the IT Support Intern will be to assist users with various technical problems that arise on a day to day basis and to work with the senior IT professionals to upgrade and maintain Noetic’ s IT infrastructure. This includes participation in Noetic Technical Teams for training and advancement opportunities. This position is very important to improve productivity, network security, and Noetic’ s technical capabilities. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Review and create an It Manual for Noetic  

  • Including all inventory its functionality and estimated life span  

  • Design, select and install a shared file hardware for the Administrative offices  

  • Fix any computer issues for computers/telephones/and printer  

  • Research and present a plan to upgrade hardware and to put all employees on same software  

  • Educate Administrative Employees on best practices for web usage and password software usage. Write practices for the handbook.  

  • Create and present a financial and physical implementation plan for company hardware/software/ and IT functions  

  • Other duties as needed  

 

This internship is reserved for a student who resides in a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone). Noetic is a HUB Zone certified company and as such gives preference to applicants who live in the HUB Zone. This internship is for 10 hours a week or 40 hours a month in our corporate office in Huntsville, AL.
