SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maximo Application Suite System Administrator to oversee the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Maximo system. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and security while supporting business operations and end-user needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or

equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience administering and supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite.
• Strong knowledge of Maximo modules, workflows, and configurations.
• Experience with SQL, database management, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with WebSphere, Liberty, or other middleware technologies.
• Understanding of asset management, work management, and supply chain processes
within Maximo.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must be proficient in multifactor authentication and authorization practices, zero trust
requirements, data in transit, and data at rest compliance requirements.
• Experience with Maximo automation scripts, BIRT reporting, and MIF (Maximo
Integration Framework) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• IBM Certified Maximo Administrator certification.
• Experience with cloud-hosted Maximo environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

PRIMARY JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administer IBM Maximo 7.6 until the transition to Maximo Application Suite (MAS), ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Administer and maintain IBM MAS, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. • Configure and customize Maximo modules, workflows, security settings, and integrations to meet business requirements.
 • Manage enterprise-level data stores for compute services.
 • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance stability and efficiency.
 • Perform system upgrades, patches, and version migrations while ensuring minimal disruption.
• Manage user roles, security settings, and access controls in compliance with organizational policies.
 • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand system needs, recommend improvements, and provide user training.
 • Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Maximo with other enterprise systems and data sources.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users. • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and best practices.
